On February 26, 2023, the Treblinka Museum was visited by the delegation of the Embassy of Canada to Poland, headed by Ambassador Catherine Godin. The guests, accompanied by a guide, visited permanent exhibition in the Museum building, where they learned about the history of the Treblinka I Penal Labour Camp and the Treblinka II Death Camp. Having made entries were in the memorial book, the delegation also got acquainted with the initiative of the Korczak Forest, where on June 4, 2021, on behalf of Jerry Nussbaum – president of the Janusz Korczak Association in Canada, a tree was planted by Barbara Janina Sochal, president of the Polish Association of Janusz Korczak.
Then, in the Treblinka Memorial Site area, the delegation honored the memory of the victims by laying flowers at the central monument.
