Appointment of the Museum Council at the Treblinka Museum. German Nazi Extermination Camp and Forced Labour Camp (1941-1944)

On April 30, pursuant to Resolution No. 547/43/19 of the Masovian Voivodeship Board of Directors of April 30, 2019 and the Statute of the Treblinka Museum. The German Nazi extermination camp and labor camp (1941-1944), constituting an annex to Resolution No. 6/19 of the Mazovian Voivodeship Sejmik of January 22, 2019, the Museum Council at the Treblinka Museum. German Nazi Extermination Camp and Forced Labour Camp (1941-1944) was established.

The Treblinka Museum Council for the term in 2019-2023 consists of:

8. Elżbieta Lanc

Based on Article. 11 para. 1 of the Act of 21 November 1996 on museums (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 972, as amended), a museum council operates at state and local government museums whose members are appointed by a local government unit for a 4-year term.

The museum’s council exercises supervision over the museum’s fulfillment of its duties towards the collections and society, as well as evaluates the institution’s activities on the basis of annual reports submitted by the director and gives its opinion on the annual activity plans.
