Presentation of the new edition of the exhibition “The Image of Treblinka in the Eyes of Samuel Willenberg”

On January 23, the museum delegation participated in the presentation of a new edition of the exhibition “The Image of Treblinka in the Eyes of Samuel Willenberg”. The special guest at the IPN Central History Point named after President Lech Kaczyński in Warsaw was Ada Krystyna Willenberg.

During the discussion panel, participants addressed the role of Samuel Willenberg’s legacy in shaping memory and historical education. During the event, Ada Willenberg was awarded the IPN Reipublicae Memoriae Meritum medal for her contributions to promoting knowledge about Holocaust victims and fostering dialogue between Poland and Israel.
