Visitors can visit the Treblinka Museum. The Nazi German Extermination and the Labour Camp (1941–1944) – individually or with a guide.

Visiting Recommendations:
To fully understand this site, which became a symbol of German-Nazi crimes against Jews, Poles, and Romani people, it is essential to visit both camps:

  • Treblinka II – Extermination Camp
  • Treblinka I – Penal Labour Camp

The duration of a visit depends on the individual interests and needs of the visitors. A fee is charged for guide services:

  • The cost of a guided tour in English is 80 PLN per each started hour.

Visits by children under the age of 14 are not recommended.

To book a guide service, please contact us in advance via phone or email and include the following details in your request:

  • Name, address, and phone number of the ordering party.
  • Number of people, with age group designation.
  • Date and time of the planned visit.

Guides must be booked at least 14 days before the planned visit.
Resignation from the guide service must be reported no later than 7 days before the visit.
Changes to the visit date must be arranged no later than 7 days before the originally agreed date.

Guide services are available from Monday to Friday.

Approximate minimum time required for a visit:

  • 1 hour: Guided tour of the exhibition in the Museum building.
  • 2 hours: Guided tour of the Museum building and the grounds of the former Treblinka II Extermination Camp.
  • 3 hours: Guided tour of the Museum building, the grounds of the former Treblinka II extermination camp, and the remains of the Treblinka I Labour Camp.

It is also possible to arrange a more detailed visit to the Memorial and book a guide for a longer duration.

Visitors are welcome to pay tribute to the victims by laying flowers, stones, or lighting candles in designated areas (in accordance with fire safety regulations).

Important Information:
The Treblinka Museum does not have a cloakroom or luggage storage. Please consider this when planning your visit.

Audioguide for the Treblinka II Extermination Camp

The audioguide is a system for individual touring of the Treblinka II Extermination Camp Memorial Site. The historical path is available for free, for download via Google Play or the AppStore. The application can be downloaded onto your smartphone in advance, or while at the Treblinka Museum site, using the free wi-fi.

The path consists of 15 points, leading the user along the path of people brought to Treblinka II. The audioguide is available in Polish, English, German, and Hebrew.

The Treblinka I audioguide enables individual touring of the former Treblinka I Penal Labour Camp. The historical path is available for free, for download via Google Play or the AppStore. The application can be downloaded onto your smartphone in advance, or while at the Treblinka Museum site, using the free wi-fi.

The path consists of 19 points, leading the user along the path of the prisoners of the Treblinka I Penal Labour Camp, as well as people brought there from the Gestapo prisons in Sokołów Podlaski and Warsaw, and the Romani people who were shot by the Germans near this camp. The audioguide is available in Polish and English.
