Dear Visitors,
We would like to inform you that the historical Death Road has been designated. It led to the Execution Sites, where executions were carried out and the bodies of those shot were buried. This route was also used to transport deceased and murdered prisoners from the area of the Treblinka I Labour Camp.
The Death Road was marked out by Dr. Sebastian Różycki from the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography at the Warsaw University of Technology, in cooperation with the Treblinka Museum.
The route consists of two branches that begin at the southern gates of the camp. After approximately 100 metres, they merge into a single road leading to the Execution Sites. The total length of the trail is 300 metres.
The newly marked road has been signposted and adapted to meet the needs of visitors.
