During the event, the photographer Piotr To\u0142wi\u0144ski emphasized that he wanted to convey to the audience the emotions associated with this tragic place. It was important to him that many of the photographs depict Treblinka in a winter setting. The album contains nearly 100 contemporary, mostly black-and-white photographs. They are grouped into six chapters: Railway Station, Extermination Camp, Black Road, Labour Camp, Gravel Pit, and Execution Site. During the event, Piotr To\u0142wi\u0144ski \u00a0received the &#8220;Meritorious for the Treblinka Museum&#8221; Medal for promoting the Treblinka Memorial Site through artistic means.
