The book chronicles the life of the Jewish community of Siedlce from the second half of the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century to the 20<sup>th <\/sup>century. The publication contains information about the social and political life of the Jews in Siedlce as well as a description of Jewish political parties and cultural and educational associations that operated in Siedlce. One of the chapters presents the German occupation of Poland and the extermination of Jews in Siedlce.
